• Use blitz for pattern testing.
• Use bullet mostly for fun and mouse-speed practice.

Review one moment after each game

Do not review everything. Find the move where the game changed, name the concept, and drill a similar position.

• Was it a tactic?
• Was it king safety?
• Was it a trade, opening, or endgame decision?

Use fair-play habits

Do not use engines or outside help during games. Analyze afterward. Clean habits make online chess more trustworthy and make your improvement real.

• Never ask another person for moves.
